Overalls and Coveralls
When working on a construction site, in a workshop or a clinical setting, you already face enough challenges without your work clothes being one. Our overalls and coveralls will help you stay protected while also keeping you comfortable.
We stock bib and brace overalls, fully body coveralls, and clinical lab coats so you get the freedom of movement and comfortable clothing you need to carry out physically demanding, active work.
Bib and Brace Overalls
Bib and brace overalls leave your arms uncovered and your shoulders free so you get full range of motion while working.
Particularly suitable when working in trades like painting, decorating or plastering, they protect your clothes without restricting your arm movements. Ideal for layering over base tops like jumpers or long sleeve t-shirts, these shirts give you space to move without feeling tight or rubbing.
They also come with reinforced knee pads and multiple pockets so you always have space to store the tools and fixings you need without walking to your toolbox.
Men's Work Overalls
If your work is particularly messy and full body coverage is necessary, our range of classic boilersuits and coveralls are a great option. Combining comfort features like elasticated waists and adjustable cuffs with practical additions such as large pockets and secure closures.
Available in lightweight materials or more robust, durable fabrics for wearing outdoors or in dirtier conditions, these are coveralls designed to keep you protected while doing tough jobs.
Work Overalls for Women
As well as men’s and unisex overalls, we have designs made with women in mind.
Designed to fit female body shapes, they’re still as practical and robust as you’d expect from your workwear. They have plenty of pockets, cuffed wrists and are made of the same robust polyester cotton mix that holds up to multiple washes.
To keep them as hygienic as possible, they’re even made of a polyester cotton blend that can withstand repeated washings at 60 degrees.
Frequently Asked Questions
The main difference between coveralls and overalls is their torso design. Overalls have a simple bib-and-braces top that leave the arms uncovered. Coveralls, in comparison, have sleeves for complete coverage. If you need more protection for dirt or debris, then a coverall is going to be your best choice. If mobility or the flexibility to layer concerns you more, then an overall is less restrictive.
If you work in a trade that involves a lot of arm movement (which is many of them) the bib and brace overalls might be the best choice for you. The lack of sleeves gives more freedom of movement and less restriction across your shoulders while features like adjustable straps, tool pockets and reinforced knees make your day-to-day tasks that little bit easier.
Absolutely. Our men’s work overalls come in a variety of fits, fabrics, and features from lightweight breathable styles to heavy-duty options for industrial use. Most designs include pockets, zips, and reinforced panels to suit a wide range of jobs. Are there work overalls for women that offer a tailored fit? We stock Dickies Women’s Protective Bib and Brace Overalls to give women the same protection and practically in a more tailored fit. Available in four sizes, these overalls also have adjustable straps, a button-up adjustable waist and a roll-up hem with snap closures to make them as flexible and comfortable as possible.
They are. Our lab coats provide lightweight, professional protection for clinical, scientific, and medical environments. Designed for functionality and hygiene, they’re available in a range of sizes and styles suitable for both men and women.
